Mchael trained at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has played leading roles in Hunting Scenes from Bavaria at the Gate Theatre in London, and also One Day in October at The Riverside Theatre.
His extensive television work includes This Life, London's Burning and Shakespeare's Shorts. His recent success culminated in winning the Manchester Evening News Best newcomer Award in 1996. Michael has just finished the third series of the drama City Central (BBC) in which he appeared as another policeman - PC Richard Law
