Angela Crow was born in Manchester and trained at RADA. She made her professional debut on stage in Jane Eyre before going on to appear in Grandmother and The Brontes, Stepping Out and Under Milk Wood. In her long running career she has won a Gilbert Award and a Tree Award.

In 1961 she joined Coronation Street as factory girl Doreen Lostock, a role she played for three years. Angela went on to appear on television in The Dance Dress, The Laughing Women, Smith and Jones, The Ruth Randal Mysteries, One Foot In The Grave, Between The Two of Us, North and South, Bleak House, Bingo, The Millionairess, Casualty and Star Cops. She has also worked with comics such as Harry Worth, Bruce Forysthe and Frankie Howard.

Angela has appeared in the films Jack The Ripper, The Godsend, Riding High and Morons From Outer Space. More recent television roles include Lilly in Heartbeat and Jean in Casualty and more recent stage work includes Stepping Out, When The Wind Blows, Absurd Person Singular and Twelfth Night.
