Sarah remained with the series for two years before returning to the theatre as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream. In 1999 she joined former Coronation Street actress Amelia Bullmore in the Catherine Cookson mini-series Tilly Trotter as Jessie Ann Sopwith.
