Joe was a baker who in July 1978 bought an empty shop unit next
to the old Kabin in Rosamund Street and turned it into another
outlet for his bread and cakes. Sadly for the Kabin, he also ran
a small cafe in the shop, consequently closing the little cafe
in the back of the Kabin. In 1980 he sold the shop to Jim Sedgewick
- who turned it inot Jim's Cafe.
