A dreamy painter and decorator who decorated the bedrooms, hall
and stairs at the Rovers Return. He was also an amateur watercolour
artist. Eddie Yeats sold some of
his painting in the Rovers and he took Mavis
Riley out painting a few times. Their friendship broke up
when Maurice asked her to pose in the nude for him and she refused.
