Stan Ogden's escapologist mate, who did his act for the Street's
Spring fair. Stan accepted a £5 challenge to escape the
chains - and couldn't. Unfortunately Wally was rather fond of
a drink, and ended up drunk, locked in the ladies lavatory in
The Rovers. It took Len Fairclough to remove the lock, get Wally's
keys and free both Wally and Stan.
