Harry McClean Harry McCleanRenee Bradshaw's fianceé of six years. Harry was a Third Officer in the Merchant Navy, and obviously loved the Navy life and probably had a girl in every port.
Shortly after Renee bought the Corner Shop he turned up unexpectedly
in Weatherfield for a couple of days. He helped out behind the
counter, but rapidly realised that a settled life wasn't for him,
and Renee was forging a career of her own. He broke off the engagement,
catching a midnight boat and disappearing into the night, never
to be seen again.
