A sales promoter who became friendly with Steph
Barnes. When she went away on her skiing holiday, Clive signed
Steph's plaster cast on her leg. When she returned Des
thought they had been having an affair (they hadn't), so he arranged
to meet Clive in a bar by the Quays, where he was going to teach
Clive a lesson. Sadly for Des, Clive was trained in unarmed combat
and he came of worst.
