A business acquaintance of Mike Baldwin who worked for Websters. Mike took Wilf out to dinner to talk business - but he also invited Sylvie Hicks and Elsie Tanner along to make a foursome.

Elsie and Wilf went out a few times afterwards, and in February 1982 he turned up on Elsie's doorstep announcing that he had left his wife and wanting to move into No11. Elsie turned him down, and his visit was closely followed by one from his wife Dorothy, warning off Elsie. Mrs Stockwell then got Websters to cancel a large order with Baldwin's Casuals. When Wilf had a "back me or fire me" meeting, he got the sack. Again he asked Elsie to make a new life with him away from Weatherfield; again she refused and he left alone.
