A friend of Vera Duckworth's,
who went to The Rovers with Vera about 9 months after the factory
fire. Obviously Jack was in
lumber at that time, as Vera chatted up Fred Gee, and they
went out on a date (I shudder at the thought !) Fortunately Annie
Walker had stayed up when Fred invited Vera back 'for supper',
so nothing untoward happened...
