No. 12 Coronation Street

Address: 12 Coronation Street
Phone number: 0161 715 ????
Current owners:Unknown. No word on whether Jason was able to sell up or not.

Actual location: Granada Studios outdoor set

January 2000: Mark Redman agrees to rent the flat

July 2000: Mark cannot bear to continue his affair with Linda Sykes any longer and he resumes his round the world travelling, handing the key back to Rita and the flat lies empty.

February 2001: Rita Sullivan's close friend, Anthony Stephens moves in and rents the flat from Alec. Anthony stays on until July, when he travels to New Zealand for a family wedding, and decides to stay on. Rita declines to travel with him, and they part with bad feeling.

September 2001: After lying empty for a couple of months, recently married Steve & Karen McDonald decide the flat above Streetcars is too small for both them and Vik, so they persuade Rita Sullivan to have a word with Alec Gilroy. They move in - only for Karen and Rita to engage in a war of music and words through the thin walls.

December 2004: Karen and Steve split up and Karen leaves the street, leaving Steve on his own in the flat. Liz lives there for awhile with Steve.

Steve buys the Rovers and he and Liz move in. (Maria has moved to the salon flat). Michelle and Ryan Connor live in No. 12 for a few months then move in to the Rovers with Steve.

2009: Flat is bought at auction by Jason Grimshaw and Tina McIntyre to fix up and re-sell. No idea if Alec Gilroy was the previous owner at the time of sale.

2017: Vacant
