This week saw the fallout from Asha stripping off in front of her phone. The video’s gone viral, posted to a porn site and when Max tells David what’s happened, David goes straight round to tell Dev who’s distraught. He’s angry, confused, as any parent would be and he wants to go to the cops, again, as any parent would. Asha tells her dad that telling the police will make things worse for her, she’s being insulted constantly online. But Dev does what’s right and tells the cops, what’s happened is illegal after all as Asha is under age. It’s a complicated story and one that many people, many parents will be struggling to get to grips with. Kudos to Corrie for doing this even if I don’t like it or understand.

Sally and Tim plan their wedding and it’s all systems go. Sally asks Abi to be bridesmaid and Kev agrees to be best man. Trouble is, Tim’s already asked his dad, Geoff.

Speaking of Geoff ‘the love doctor’ Metcalfe, things are as creepy and awkward as ever at Yasmeen and Geoff’s house. Even Cathy appears to have given up on Yasmeen for now after Yasmeen’s rude to her friend when she comes for a bite to eat.

At Stillwaters, Ken is elected chair of the residents’ association but when he’s called to give a speech, he turns the post down and suggests Norris steps into the role. Ken tells Claudia he can’t stay at Stillwaters, it’s not his home and he wants to move back to Coronation Street. Ken and Claudia split, he moves back to No. 1 and Tracy’s not best pleased. She wants the house to herself but Ken’s moved into the front room that used to be Blanche’s. If Ken stays he’ll become the modern day Uncle Albert who lodged with Ken and Deirdre, the cuckoo in the nest.  Tracy contacts Claudia and tries to convince her to take Ken back but Claudia’s already dusted her hands of the man.

Over at the Rovers, Johnny and Jenny leave for France to visit Eva and Johnny’s granddaughter. Meanwhile, lodger Scott becomes friendly with Liz and it’s clear that Johnny and Scott have history and a chequered past, but what’s really gone on that’s made Johnny run away to France? With Johnny and Jenny away, Carla and Peter move into the Rovers to run the pub. It’s fair to say that it takes a while for Carla to get the hang of pulling a pint.

And that’s just about that for this week.
