Abi, with a side of Nina

Kevin stirs from a night on the sofa to find Abi standing in the living room.  Kevin’s stunned. Abi apologises profusely for worrying Kevin and promises the £2000 she helped herself to was for food and accommodation, not drugs. Abi is blown away by Jack and Kevin’s welcome home efforts but Jack is upset and Debbie furious when she tells them she can’t promise that she is going to stay around. Kevin is puzzled by her words, unaware of what she has planned.

Nina calls to see Abi at No.13 and queries her reluctance to reschedule the wedding. When Abi cites the hassle of organising it as the reason, Kevin says he and Debbie will sort everything so Abi’s forced to agree.  Kevin’s thrilled while Nina’s suspicious of Abi.

Asha plucks up the courage to ask Nina out, but a distracted Nina’s too upset after a run-in with a hostile Abi so turns her down. Asha’s disappointed. News of Corey’s transfer to a German club spreads. Nina is furious and when Roy finds a notebook with details of Corey’s training regime she says she will help find the owner. Nina calls at No.13 to speak to Abi but what has she got to say?

Good news, bad news and really bad news!

Having taken a call from social services, Toyah excitedly tells Imran that they’re going to be fostering a four-year-old. But the news piles more pressure on Imran as he confides in Adam about Sabeen’s blackmail. Imran corners Rita in the Rovers and, likening her foster experience to his own, quizzes her about Sharon. When Rita reveals that Sharon still calls and sends the odd text, Imran’s interest is piqued. Whilst Rita’s distracted, Imran pockets her phone, but to his horror it starts ringing. Imran desperately tries to juggle the impending arrival of Elsie and Sabeen’s increasing demands for more information about Harvey. When Rita sees through his latest bid to ingratiate himself she is disgusted and Imran tells Sabeen the blackmail has to stop.

A devastated Toyah can’t believe what she is hearing from Imran about Sabeen’s blackmail plan and his one night fling with a stranger, but has he been entirely truthful? With Elsie about to arrive Toyah disappears and bumps into Peter in Victoria Gardens who tells her not to give up on what she and Imran have. Imran is relieved when she returns to the flat all smiles for the social worker but has she forgiven him?

When Toyah finds out from Simon how Imran borrowed his phone in a bid to uncover information about Sharon, she’s quietly appalled.  When Imran is distracted by Elsie she steals his phone but what is she hoping to find? At the Bistro she tells a furious Peter what Imran has been up to. Meanwhile a furious Sabeen storms into the solicitors’ office and tells Imran how she’s been accused of misconduct, had all her cases taken off her and he’s made an enemy for life out of Harvey Gaskell. Imran’s totally bemused. As a furious Sabeen accuses Imrna of forwarding her private texts to her boss, Imran realises his phone is missing and that Toyah must be the one responsible. Imran’s devastated. Knowing Harvey’s appeal has been compromised Peter and Toyah assure Simon he is no longer in danger. But across Weatherfield Sabeen visits Harvey and tells him that Leanne’s sister, Toyah, has jeopardised his appeal. From his prison cell, a furious Harvey vows to have his revenge on the Battersby sisters.

Hairdresser needed, hopefully wanted

Dev is intrigued when Natasha mentions she is considering buying the closed Salon so that Sam can be closer to his dad and the Platt family. Bernie notices Dev’s interest in Natasha. Natasha’s plans to buy the salon are dealt a blow when Gail forgets to tell her that she said she would pay to get the sinkhole sorted out. Meanwhile a jealous Bernie is pleased to discover that Natasha does not have designs on Dev but decides to wind him up and let him think Natasha has the hots for him. Bernie laughs her head off as Dev flirts with Natasha and asks her out, only to be turned down flat and told he’s got the wrong end of the stick. Furious Dev tackles Bernie who tells him in no uncertain terms what she thinks of him. Having overheard the row Aadi lists all the reasons why Dev is a great dad. To help Dev get over the Natasha debacle, Aadi suggests a lads’ holiday for the two of them at a swish campsite. Dev’s instantly cheered by the idea. In the Rovers, Audrey cracks open the fizz and reveals that she’s paying for Gail’s sinkhole repairs so that Natasha can go ahead and buy the salon. Natasha’s utterly thrilled. Nick and Leanne return to the street to find Natasha taking photos of the salon.  When she  reveals that she’s in the process of buying it, they’re delighted for her.

As Dev and Aadi excitedly discuss their holiday plans, they’re interrupted by the arrival of Asha who’s clearly upset. Aadi is furious when Dev tells him he has asked Asha to come with them as she is upset over Nina. As Dev struggles to fulfil both Asha’s and Aadi’s holiday requirements, Aadi’s resigned to the fact that yet again, his sister’s needs come first.

Jenny, Daisy and ...

Leo calls at the Rovers with a bunch of flowers, but as he approaches the bar, he overhears Jenny telling Daisy that she’s enjoying her freedom and is done with relationships. Daisy admires Leo’s flowers and concedes that it might be worth giving him a chance. Daisy discovers the card that came with the flowers and points out that the flowers were meant for Jenny not her and Leo obviously fancies her. Jenny is flattered when Leo invites her out for a drink, meanwhile Johnny tells Carla he feels his life has lost its purpose and is thrilled when she offers him a consultancy job at the factory. But as he chats to an old business contact with Carla at the Bistro he is shocked to see a glammed up Jenny walk in with Leo. Leo flirts with Jenny, telling her finds her much more attractive than Daisy. Johnny calls at the Rovers hoping to have a drink with Jenny, only to find her entertaining Leo. After spending the night with Jenny, a loved up Leo sets off to work. Beth watches intrigued. In the factory, Johnny overhears Beth slagging him off to Carla, suggesting he’s past it and not up to the job. Carla finds Johnny in the Rovers, nursing a pint.  Johnny tells her that Beth’s right, she doesn’t need his help to run the factory and it’s time he set off for pastures new.
