Hearing what’s happened Phill calls on Fiz and suggests a bite to eat. When Evelyn reveals to Tyrone that Phill has taken Fiz to the bistro, his jealousy is evident. Unable to help himself, Tyrone follows them and when Phill goes to the loo, Tyrone blurts out to Fiz how much he misses her and the girls. As Tyrone reveals how much he enjoyed their kiss and how his engagement to Alina was an accident, Fiz listens with disbelief. Tyrone tells Alina that Fiz is thinking of moving away with the girls and he can’t possibly go to Romania with her at the moment. Alina’s hurt. In the factory, Michael advises Alina to cut Tyrone some slack as his kids will always come first. Alina tells Tyrone she’s cancelled their trip and accepts that his girls come first. Tyrone masks his guilt. Fiz calls Tyrone as Hope refuses to go to school. When Alina asserts that once they’re married as she’ll be a firm but fair stepmum, Tyrone can’t look Fiz in the eye. After telling Alina she hates her for stealing her daddy, a contrite Hope pulls the damaged teddy from her bag, admitting she stole it and she’s sorry about the fire. But when Hope reveals she’s sorry for all the other fires she started too, Alina’s horrified to realise this wasn’t the first time. At home she rails at Tyrone for keeping secrets. Alina’s heartbroken as Tyrone admits he wants to get back with Fiz. Confiding in Emma she reveals Tyrone wants to be with Fiz. Meanwhile Fiz tells Phill about the kiss, but also that it only made her realise she no longer has feelings for Tyrone. Phill breathes a sigh of relief. As Alina dumps their couples shot at the garage with the word ‘liar’ scrawled across Tyrone’s forehead, she ensures a very public humiliation before climbing in a taxi to leave. As Fiz and Phill head to the bistro, can a desolate Tyrone convince Alina to stay? Having found out that Alina is yet to fly, Tyrone races off to find her. Having tracked her to a hotel, he implores her to reconsider. When Alina makes out it’s over between them, will Tyrone accept this? When Phill drops his car off at the garage, a jealous Tyrone searches the car, hoping to find something to discredit him. When he discovers a napkin with a woman’s name and number scrawled on it, he pockets it. Tyrone arrives for babysitting duty but as Phill arrives for a glammed up Fiz, his jealousy comes to the fore. Tyrone reveals he saw the napkin and knows about Brigitte. Guilty All Around! Imran heads home in last night’s clothes after spending the night with Sabeen. Awash with guilt, Imran makes out that he got drunk and spent the night at the office. Imran tells Toyah he’s hired a psychologist for Kelly using the last of the money from the anonymous donor and making up the shortfall himself. Encouraged by fellow inmate Mia, Kelly reluctantly joins the support group. Having found out about Kelly, Sharon rails at Gary for failing to look after her and threatens to grass him up. Maria quizzes Gary about his row with Sharon. When Gary reveals that Sharon used to be Rick’s sidekick, Maria advises him to steer well clear and leave Kelly to Imran. James knee-ds answers! Having been told by the hospital that he’s still not ready to return to football, a frustrated James tells Ed and Aggie that he’s going to chase up the police investigation. Craig watches with unease from across the street. Craig assures James that the police investigation is underway and he’s told them he wants to be re-interviewed. At the police station, Craig sets the record straight and admits that James was not driving erratically, nor were the brothers aggressive in any way. Craig tells James he hopes his interview will help with the investigation. James is unimpressed, pointing out he should have told the truth in the first place. Devinder's Dinner Aadi rails at Dev for his total lack of interest in him and his new girlfriend, Summer. Dev forms a plan to throw a dinner party for Aadi, Summer and Billy, explaining that he wants to get to know Summer better. Aadi tells Summer he’s persuaded Dev to pay for lunch by way of an apology for his drunken behaviour last night. Summer and Aadi admit they like each other but agree to take things slowly. Norris's Mystery Ken confides in Rita that Norris wants to meet up as he has some important news. However they’re shocked to hear from Freda that Norris has collapsed and been taken to hospital with a suspected stroke. Ken, Rita and Mary arrive at the hospital to be met by an ashen-faced Freda who breaks the news that Norris died half an hour ago. When Ken reveals that Norris wanted to share some important news with him. In the Rovers they raise a toast to dearly departed Norris. As Mary and Freda argue over Norris’s funeral arrangements, Claudia arrives. When they argue over where best to hold the wake, Rita steps in and asserts that Norris would choose the street. As the row over Norris’s funeral escalates, Mary announces she’s stepping down and Freda can sort out the funeral herself. Gemma’s worried to hear it clashes with Aled’s operation. Gemma breaks the news to Freda that she can’t attend Norris’ funeral as it clashes with Aled’s operation. Freda warns Gemma that by giving Aled cochlear implants they’re changing his identity. Gemma assures her that’s not the case. The Chalkboard Jungle As Daniel heads off to his teaching placement, Ken couldn’t be more proud of his son. But when Max plays up in class, Daniel realises it’s going to be far from easy. David tears a strip off Max for mucking about but showing no remorse, Max stomps off. David’s concerned when Max claims that school’s a waste of time. Daniel gives him detention for failing to hand in his homework but Max doesn’t care. When David suggests that Max could do with some extra tutoring, Daniel makes excuses. Happy Birthday Yasmeen! An excited Yasmeen tells Alya that Zeedan’s coming to visit. Elaine calls to celebrate Yasmeen’s birthday. Alya’s stressed when the food delivery is late. As Elaine tries to placate the diners, Alya juggles a call with the delivery driver and another from the bank. The delivery finally arrives but Alya’s relief turns to horror when a customer points at a tarantula crawling across a table (which has escaped from a boy’s rucksack). The diners fled, Alya tries to stay calm as the boy searches for his pet. With the spider finally caught, a tearful Alya tells Elaine that Yasmeen has somehow managed to empty their bank account. Alya’s horrified to learn that the call she took earlier wasn’t from the bank, but from a fraudster and she unwittingly allowed them to clear out the account, not Yasmeen. In desperation, Alya leaves a voicemail for Zeedan telling him how she’s been scammed out of thousands and doesn’t know what to do. Zeedan arrives at Speed Daal as Alya is forced to explain her mistake to Yasmeen. Zeedan offers to transfer £50k to tide her over. Compiled by Andrea McGowan
