Stu's Family Reunion

A nervous Stu prepares to meet his granddaughter Eliza at Speed Daal but is delighted when the meeting goes well. But the mood changes when Lucy arrives and insists that Bridget and Eliza leave the restaurant immediately. A devastated Stu watches them go. Meanwhile at number 3 Dee-Dee tells Alya that there was no trace of Stu's DNA on Charlie's bag but it will be expensive to get the evidence re-tested. When Alya spots the women leaving the restaurant she runs after them and accuses a flustered Lucy of hiding vital information linked to Stu’s case. Believing Lucy knows more than she is letting on Alya is determined to find the cash for the DNA test. Stu tells Yasmeen and Alya that he no longer wants to pursue his case and simply wants to leave the past in the past.
Stu remains set on dropping his case in the hope of connecting with his daughter and granddaughter. When Dee-Dee tells Alya she has got the funding for the test Alya keeps Stu’s wishes a secret and tells Dee-Dee everything has to go through her. When Eliza turns up at Speed Daal Stu insists on calling Bridget. When Lucy and Bridget turn up to collect Eliza Alya spots an opportunity and invites them to stay for tea. Alya collars Dee-Dee and, producing a mug that Lucy drank from earlier, insists they have it tested for DNA so they can finally know if she’s the true culprit behind Charlie’s murder.
Dee-Dee admits to Alya she’s decided not to return to her job in LA but hasn’t told her family yet. When Dee-Dee calls into Speed Daal with paperwork for Alya to sign, Zeedan realises she hasn’t dropped Stu’s case at all. Dee-Dee is furious at Alya’s duplicity but after listening to Alya’s reasoning she says she will send the cup off and if Stu changes his mind then they will have the results for him.

Tim pretends to have forgotten his wedding anniversary in a bid to wind up Sally. But his plan backfires when Sally tears up his card and leaves No.4 in a huff. Tim tracks down Sally and, apologising for his prank, presents her with a beautiful necklace for their anniversary. As a reward for his thoughtful gift, Sally decks out No.4 as a romantic grotto and cooks Tim a special anniversary meal. Grateful Tim gives Aggie a necklace to say thanks for helping him but Aggie can't help feeling guilty when Dee-Dee admires it.
