Dev, Bernie and Asha

Having finally enjoyed their wedding night at the hotel, Bernie tells Dev that she’s worried about Asha. In the shop, an exhausted Asha swigs on a bottle of wine, before suddenly instructing Brody to mind the shop and heading out. As Brody panics, Asha heads down the street in tears. Back at the pub, Dev takes a call from Amy (who’s found Asha thanks to Theo) and races out. A paramedic tends to Asha and quizzes Dev and Amy as to whether she might have taken any drugs in addition to the wine. As a fraught Dev waits for news in A&E, Sienna approaches and tentatively reveals that they found drugs on Asha. Dev reels as Bernie asks if Asha tried to kill herself. Will Asha be ok?
Dev struggles to mask his emotions, confiding in Bernie that he can’t help feeling angry that Asha was prepared to put the family through so much pain.

Tim's Past is Revealed

Tim picks up a fare and instantly recognises her as Trisha Pinkerton, a girl he knew back in the 80s. As Tim and Sally celebrate their anniversary, she suggests Tim goes to the Rovers with the blokes in a bid to cheer Kevin up. Trisha arrives and catches Tim’s eye. Tim explains that Trisha’s a blast from his past. Tyrone and Steve are amused whilst Kevin’s disapproving. As the lads discuss Asha’s situation and their concerns for Dev, they open up and admit that they all have their own set of worries and in future they should share them rather than bottling them up.
Trisha calls at the cab office to see Tim. Sally’s taken aback to find her there. When she introduces herself as Trisha, Sally’s quick to explain that she’s Tim’s wife. Sally’s fuming, pointing out to Tim that not only did he miss their anniversary meal, but then she finds him entertaining Trisha in the cab office. As Sally marches out, Tim reminisces about Trisha, revealing he was only 14 when they got together but she was nearly 20. Brian’s quietly shocked.
Trisha calls in the café looking for Tim. Brian’s curt with her and accuses her of grooming Tim as a child. Trisha’s horrified and Tim rounds on Brain but he sticks to his guns and tells Tim that he needs to face the fact that Trisha groomed him. Sally confronts Tim over his relationship with Trisha. When Tim admits that he was 14 when she took his virginity and she was 20, Sally’s shocked.

Theo - Hero or Zero?

An upset Todd confides in George that Theo’s still not been in touch. George reckons he’s better off without him. As Theo passes Victoria Garden he spies Asha slumped on the bench, an empty wine bottle next to her. As he shouts for help, Todd rails at Theo for his disappearing act. Theo stomps off again, while an upset Amy pours her heart out to Todd, telling him that if Theo hadn’t found Asha things could have turned out very differently. Can Todd build bridges with Theo?
Todd lies to Theo and makes out that he wishes he could support him at Noah’s funeral but he can't get away from work. Todd confides in Billy that he’s got an appointment at the hospital to check for bowel cancer but he hasn’t told Theo as he’s got enough on his plate. When Billy offers to go with him, Todd’s grateful. In the pub, Todd thanks Billy for his support and assures him he’ll tell Theo once he’s got the results. Theo arrives back from the funeral and is annoyed to spot Todd and Billy together. He’s further annoyed when Todd reveals he’s agreed to dinner with George and Christina.

Abi's Out in the Cold

As everyone gathers for Ronnie’s birthday party, Carl finds himself awkwardly sandwiched between Abi and James! When Alfie knocks over his drink, Abi goes to mop it up and Carl helps. Noting their intimacy, Debbie flips and spells out to Abi that she needs to end her relationship with Carl. Having returned to the table, Debbie advises Kevin to hire a lawyer as Abi isn’t to be trusted. Unable to hear, Abi thinks the worst and sends a panicky text to Carl warning him that Kev knows, however she’s horrified to realise she sent the text to Kev by mistake. As Carl attempts to get hold of Kevin’s phone to delete the text, is Kevin about to discover all?
Abi lets herself into No.13, concerned for Kevin and Jack after events at Ronnie’s party. Kevin makes it clear she’s no longer welcome and demands she hands her key back. Bernie finds Abi and suggests she might want to check on Kevin as she’s just seen him chucking all Abi’s belongings onto the street.
