Christopher Coll was born in Liverpool and has a career that spans over thirty years. He has worked extensively on stage in various theatres across the country. His television work includes To Encourage The Others, The Flaxton Boys, Follyfoot, The Gentle Assassin, Death of An Informer, Victorian Scandals, The Cuckoo Waltz, Suez, Jack Be Nimble, The Fatal Spring, The Naked Civil Servant, Skylark, Minder, Sink or Swim, Billy's Blues, After The Party, Stranglers, Mighty Mum and the Petnappers, Slingers Day and The Bill.
In 1978 he played Barry Goodwin in Coronation Street and he returned to the show four years later as Mavis Riley's beau Victor Pendlebury, a role he played until 1992. Chris has also appeared in the films, Henry II, Whoops Apocalypse, Goody Two Shoes and The Jigsaw Man.
