Played: Nick Tilsley (5 January 1981 - 6 September 1996) Credited as Baby Tilsley in first episodes
Warren Ashley Jackson was born in Manchester on 24 November 1980, just after midnight, the first of two sons born to engineer Peter and his wife Jasmond. He weighed 6lb 10oz. He was soon picked by Granada Television bosses and given the role of Nicky Tilsley. He made his screen debut at just 14 days old and it was transmitted on 5 January 1981. Peter was a good friend of actor Christopher Quinten, who played Nick's father Brian Tilsley.
Warren stayed with Coronation Street as he continued his studies. He took part in a couple of school productions called Neville Chamberlain and Frankenstein but was forced to quit Coronation Street in August 1996, after sixteen years so he could concentrate on his GCSE's. He passed 7 out of the 8 that he took.
Warren expected to return to the street but producer Brian Park decided to recast Nick and actor Adam Rickett took over the role. Warren took a job working in the LA Hand Car Wash in Manchester.
His parents divorced soon after his younger brother Kristian was born but Warren stayed with his mum in Didsbury, Manchester. Kristian also acted for Granada Television in the series A Tale of Two Cities.
