Mark Lindley, like his character Nick Wilding, is a qualified solicitor. Mark turned to acting when he was 26, after spending 9 years at the family law firm. At his audition for the part he remembers wearing his Law Society tie and telling the producer that he could not say he was not convincing as a Solicitor!
