Toyah Battersby's father. Janice threw him out in 1984
when Toyah was only two - calling him "Ronnie Clegg, useless
dreg". He ended up in London, spending time in Wormwood Scrubs
and sharing a cell with Neil Flynn.
After this he seems to have settled down, married Paula,
and moved to 27 Summerhill Avenue in Walthamstow.
He managed to keep bth his daughter and his prison record a
secret from his wife until a distraught Janice turned up on his
doorstep looking for Toyah after she ran away to London to look
for her father.
