A bloke who picked up a rather drunk Elsie Tanner from the Lord Nelson pub. Elsie was on the rebound from Wally Randall's rejection and in need of solice.

In the cold light of day he turned out to be piggish and insulting; Elsie was disgusted with herself. To add to her woes, his wife Muriel then came round to No11, wrecking the house and tearing up all Elsie's clothes
