An American Army segreant who Steve Tanner's best friend and also friendly with Gary Strauss and Joe Donelli. In 1967 he took out both Dot Greenhalgh and Maggie Clegg.

In December 1970 he returned to Coronation Street in an attempt to talk out Donelli whilst he was holding Minne Caldwell hostage in No5.
