Mr Hardy Mr HardyJealous husband of the former beauty queen and customer on Gary Mallett's window-cleaning round. Gary had disturbed and tried to apprehend a burglar in the Hardy's house - consequently getting his photo in the Gazette as a hero. Mr Hardy objected to his wife kissing Gary, and when Gary later saw him kissing a young woman and his wife found out, he came round to No9 and thumped gary - apparently his usual response to most situations.
