Roy Thornley's wife, who found about his affair with Gail Potter and cited her as co-responent in the resulting divorce case. Despite Elsie Howard's pleading that gail was the "innocent" party, Doreen refused to remove Gail from the divorce petition.

Eventually Doreen found a new scarlet woman as co-respondent - Sylvia Mathews, Roy's boss.
